The EU trade mark offers the advantage of uniform trade mark protection in all current and future member states of the European Union. This requires a single registration procedure at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
The EU trade mark application or registration may be helpful to obtain an international trade mark registration.

Depending on the client’s requirements, we can offer the registration for a competitive remuneration starting from 1200 BGN (equivalent to approximately 613 Euro) exclusive of VAT. This includes the trade mark similarity search, the drafting of the application, the filing with the EUIPO and any correspondence up to the registration in EUIPO’s trade mark register. The above remuneration does not include representation in the event of a refusal of the application or an opposition by a third party.
Apart from our remuneration there are EUIPO’s official fees. The basic application fee for one class is 850 Euro. The application fee for the second class of goods and services is 50 Euro. The fee from the third class onwards is 150 EUR per class.
The usual duration of the procedure (provided the application is not objected to) is about 4 to 6 months.
